The old Academy School building in West Granville is a one-room schoolhouse, built in 1837 (next to the Congregational Church) and used as a school until 1869. It then became a community building. The West Granville Academy is Greek Revival in style and has the double entrances typical of nineteenth-century schoolhouses. Privacy Policy
